The RM of Portage La Prairie announced late afternoon on October 7 that the “wave action reduction test” at Delta Beach has ended. The far west beach has been completed but due to water depth, sand issues, debris in the water the engineers in charge of the program advised that it was not possible to proceed with any further installation of the geo-tubes. The executive of the DBA will be contacting the Province, the engineers and the RM to see what other options can be pursued
